Braves Hang 5-3 Loss on Tourists

Rome designated hitter Michael Taroon had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Asheville Tourists, 5-3. Rome reliever Jordan Van Zant picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Noah Monteroso took the loss. Rome raised its record to 19-18 with the win.
Taroon had a timely hit for Rome in the top of the sixth. With Asheville trailing 2-0, he turned a 3-1 fastball into a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 4-2, Rome.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Taroon.
