A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Lexington Legends and Kannapolis Intimidators.
In the 6-2 Lexington win over Kannapolis, the impact of Theo Copp was substantial. Copp was 4-4 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs. Jack Evans, now 2-0, was credited with the win in 3 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 4.
Copp contributed in the bottom of the third. With a runner on 1st, he hit a single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Lexington get the win.
Copp called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
