McFall hits 2 home runs as BlueClaws Squash Catfish
The Lakewood BlueClaws pasted the Columbus Catfish with a convincing 17-2 defeat at Progressive Field. Kerry McFall was a prime factor in the Lakewood win. He was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Bodie Friedman, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-1. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The BlueClaws have an impressive 21-10 record.

Lakewood won the game in part because of Randall Lasley. The right fielder ripped a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the BlueClaws ahead, 6-1. For the game, Lasley had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
