No one was more impactful than Randinson Montero in the 6-4 Lakewood win over Greensboro. Montero, who is tied for 4th in the SAL with a .353 batting average, went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dezi Tabares snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. Andrew Krause suffered the loss. The second-place BlueClaws now sit at 23-9.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Montero hit a fastball from Andrew Krause for a 2-run home run. The BlueClaws, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Pleased with the effort and the win," said BlueClaws manager Ben Schiappa.
