Fireflies Winners, 4-1, at Ballpark of Savannah
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Columbia Fireflies and Savannah Bananas.
Yannick File pitched a gem to lead Columbia to victory over the Savannah Bananas, 4-1. With the win, the Fireflies have a record of 22-7.
Columbia won the game in part because of Joseph Ramsay. The center fielder ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Fireflies ahead, 4-1. For the game, Ramsay had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said File.
