The Asheville Tourists got a sterling performance from third baseman Graham McKenny, but the Kannapolis Intimidators still prevailed, 7-5. McKenny was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win takes Kannapolis to 15-9.

Vinny Laher hit a run-scoring triple off Adrian Mendiola in the bottom of the first, which put the Intimidators in front, 1-0. Laher had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 4.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Laher told the Kannapolis News.
