Paterson gets 3 RBI to Power Grasshoppers Offense
The Greensboro Grasshoppers topped the Delmarva Shorebirds, 13-6, in South Atlantic League action at NewBridge Bank Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Greensboro right fielder Joseph Paterson. With the win, Greensboro is 8-12.

Sam Hanson had a big 2-run double for the Grasshoppers in the bottom of the first inning. With Greensboro leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Taylor Hendrickson and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Grasshoppers ahead, 3-0.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Greensboro skipper Bryce Scott.
