Greensboro Falters Again, Loses, 4-3, to Bowling Green

The Bowling Green Hot Rods managed to get by the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 4-3, at Bowling Green Ballpark. Bowling Green pitcher Solomon Cucchi set himself apart with his performance. António González collected his 4th save. The defeat makes the Grasshoppers 5-9.
An inflection point occurred with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when Hot Rods third baseman Juan Brunell hit a fastball from Gabriel Briseno for a 2-run single. Just like that, Bowling Green was up, 2-1.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Bryce Scott. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
