Big Day for Lacy in 7-2 Intimidators Win
The Kannapolis Intimidators stymied the Delmarva Shorebirds, 7-2, at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Neil Lacy had a good day at the plate. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Kannapolis. Harvey Campbell picked up the win, lifting his record to 2-0 on the season. He struck out 6 and walked 1 in 5 innings, while yielding 2 runs. With their winning streak at 6, the Intimidators have raced to a strong start this season.

With Kannapolis trailing 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Lacy hit a changeup from Kurt Schmidt for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Intimidators ahead, 3-2.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Lacy.
