The Flint Wolverines topped the Dayton Dragons, 7-1, in Midwest League action at Fifth Third Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Flint first baseman Sebastian Pérez. Reliever Pablo Arciniesa picked up the win. His record improves to 1-4. Jared Overstreet took the loss. At 66-67, the Wolverines find themselves in 4th place in the Midwest League Eastern Division.

Flint used the bat of Yusniel Pérez to get the win. The center fielder hit a cutter from Jared Overstreet out of the park for a 3-run home run. The blast came in the top of the second inning and put the Wolverines on top, 3-0. It was Pérez's lone hit, but it left a mark.

Pérez attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
