The Great Lakes Loons gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The performance of Garvin Ivey proved critical in helping Great Lakes beat Peoria, 6-5, in 10 innings. The Loons designated hitter was 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Reliever Payton Maxwell picked up the win. His record improves to 4-4. Alex Hyser, who is tied for 5th in the MID in saves with 24, took the loss.

Great Lakes got a knockout punch from Michael Rogers. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Rogers said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."

With the win, Great Lakes upped its record to 76-50.
