Mariners Topple Phillies, 6-3, as West Shines

Seattle left fielder Foster West made his presence felt in the 6-3 Mariners triumph over the Philadelphia Phillies. West was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Seattle goes to 9-4 with the win.
Allen Zimmerman hit a 2-run triple off Nevada Redding in the top of the ninth, which put the Mariners in front, 5-3. Zimmerman had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
