Taylor drives in 5 runs in Dragons Win
Dayton right fielder D.J. Taylor played a vital role in his team's 16-9 triumph over South Bend. He went 2-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for Dayton. Dayton pitcher Tony Wilson got the win. He's now 2-0. Sebastián Mora was tagged with the loss. Spiro Balades picked up the save for Dayton, his 1st of the year.

Ranidel Franco made an early impact for Dayton when he stroked his 6th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came with one out in the top of the second, put the Dragons on top, 6-0.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Taylor said.

The Dragons' win now puts them at 82-36.
