Rogers goes 4-for-5 to Ignite Loons Offense
|
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Great Lakes Loons and South Bend Cubs.
The Great Lakes Loons beat the South Bend Cubs, 10-2, at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium. The Loons got a fine performance from catcher Michael Rogers, who was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 4 times and driving in 4. Mike Jaynes picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 4-4. Alex Theisen notched his 3rd save in 4 chances.
