The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders defeated the Ames Sod Poodles, 3-2, in Midwest League action at Ballpark of Burlington. Fond du Lac pitcher Brian Lego had a standout performance. In 5.2 innings, Lego surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The third-place Dock Spiders go to 65-49.
