A 4-RBI performance from Owen Reed helped the Great Lakes Loons beat the South Bend Cubs, 10-4. Great Lakes goes to 68-48. The win puts them 5½ games up in their division.

With Great Lakes leading 6-4 in the top of the ninth, Reed hit a forkball from Landerson Velazquez for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Loons ahead, 10-4.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Reed.
