Win Lifts Dragons to 56-48
|
Dayton Dragons starter Maxwell Darbouze was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Peoria Chiefs, 3-1. Picking up the save was T.J. Fritzinger, his 9th. The Dragons now own a record of 56-48.
Dayton won the game in part because of Kevin Mysinger. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dragons ahead, 3-1. For the game, Mysinger had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"When Maxwell is on, he can really move the ball around," said Dayton manager Jason Quinlan.
