The 8-3 Madison win over Fond du Lac was due in large part to Fraser Tackett. The Muskies shortstop went 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. George Pate came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 3 runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 3-2. Madison, at 40-61, occupies 7th place in the Midwest League Western Division.

Tackett had a key at-bat for Madison in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was his 6th double of the season and gave Madison an early 1-0 lead.

"You just play the game as right as you can and see where you end up," said Muskies manager Jerrod McLaughlin.
