Hudson Young knocked in all 4 runs for the South Bend Cubs, helping them beat the Westside Woolly Mammoths, 4-3. Bentley Shea earned the save for South Bend, his 9th of the year. The Cubs sit in 5th place in the Midwest League Eastern Division with a record of 41-44.

Young had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-0 fastball from J.R. Wigley, he banged a run-scoring double to center, giving the Cubs a 4-3 lead. It was the 12th double of the year for Young.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Young said after the game.
