Wolverines Reel Off Another Win
Flint right fielder Yan Briseno made his presence felt in the 6-2 Wolverines triumph over the Fort Wayne TinCaps. Briseno was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Xavier Zamora picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-4. He struck out 7 in 6 innings. Laffite Soria got the save, the 2nd for him this season.

Nathan Pope helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Wolverines.

"The vibe's good," said Flint manager Sawyer Bauer. "We've got to keep it going."
