The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Colorado fans at Coors Field.

Colorado pitcher Julian Lewis had a large part in his team subduing the Memphis Blues, 7-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Finn White earned save number 1.

The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Coors Field crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.

"I thought Julian threw the ball well across the board," said Colorado manager Roberto Rivas.

The win brings the Rockies to 10-1, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
