Big Day for Vital in 9-6 Timber Rattlers Win
|
A good performance from designated hitter Bryan Vital helped the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers defeat the Westside Woolly Mammoths, 9-6. Vital was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Timber Rattlers. B.J. Villegas was credited with the save for Wisconsin, his 23rd of the season. The Timber Rattlers now have a mark of 38-38.
Hector Alonso, the 24-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Alonso contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Wisconsin up, 4-2.
