Big Day for Poulson in 5-4 Haymakers Win
Haymakers shortstop Quinn Poulson left his imprint on his team's 5-4 win over the Peoria Chiefs. Poulson went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Cedar Rapids in the contest. The win went to Mário Parra in relief. His record improves to 2-5. Garth Stephens took the loss. Yansiel Guerra nailed down his 2nd save.

Cedar Rapids grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Poulson hit a 2-run home run off Garth Stephens. His 8th home run of the season put the Haymakers out in front, 2-0.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Poulson.

The 5th-place Chiefs now sit at 36-36.
