River Bandits Win, Now 33-28

The Quad Cities River Bandits and Lake County Captains completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Quad Cities River Bandits beat the Lake County Captains, 5-2, at Modern Woodmen Park. Brennan Sullivan was 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The 22-year old right fielder was a menace to Lake County all day. Quad Cities reliever Shawn Murphy picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Earnest Kuchenbecker took the loss. P.J. Brown closed the game out for Quad Cities, earning his 11th save.
Center Fielder Camden Gooding made an impact for Quad Cities, when he swatted a 2-run triple off Robert Lahman in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Gooding went 1-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI.
Gooding attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
Quad Cities bumps their record to 33-28 with the win.
