The Memphis Blues dumped the Philadelphia Phillies, 7-3, in large part due to center fielder John Evans. On the day, Evans went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Blues. Shon Olmstead earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts in 5 innings of work.
