Francisco Delgado, who is tied for 4th in the MID with a 0.95 WHIP, had a strong outing for the Lansing Lugnuts against the Flint Wolverines at Cooley Law School Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Delgado, now 5-1, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Now 28-10, the Lugnuts have won 11 in a row.

Jack Tizio came through for Lansing when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike fastball to center field, staking his team to a 2-0 lead.
