The Pittsburgh Pirates used an offensive barrage to beat the Fresno Falcons, 10-0, at Best Buy Ballpark. Rafi Hernandez led the way, going 4-for-4 for Pittsburgh. With the loss, Fresno falls to 5-4.

With Pittsburgh leading 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Hernandez hit a changeup from Charlie Zens for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Pirates ahead, 5-0.

"We can't expect to win," said Fresno manager Pedro Alvarado, "when we play like that."
