6 Straight Wins for Wolverines
The Flint Wolverines topped the Peoria Chiefs, 6-4, with second baseman Jody McKnight playing a big role. McKnight went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Wolverines in the win. Derrick Roberts earned the save for Flint, his 1st of the year. With the win, Flint goes to 18-8.

Yan Briseno helped out the Flint cause in the top of the ninth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the right fielder drove in one run.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Flint manager Sawyer Bauer.
