Timber Rattlers Reel In 3-1 Win
|
Classic Park was the site of a competitive game between the Lake County Captains and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
Getting an impressive start from Flint Shay, Wisconsin beat Lake County by the score of 3-1. Hermes Rook closed it out for Wisconsin, earning his 2nd save.
Trey Parrott had a direct impact on the outcome. Parrott contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Wisconsin up, 1-0.
"Not to be Captain Obvious," said Lake County manager Ivan Ibarra, "but we need to push more runs across the plate."
The Captains fall to 9-11 and continue their lackluster start to the 2061 season.
