Madison Stays Hot with 6-1 Win
|
The Madison Muskies stymied the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, 6-1, at Muskies Ballpark. Jonah Carter had a good day at the plate. He went 2-4 with 2 singles for Madison. Madison, now 13-4, is playing great baseball to start the year.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fifth when Carter hit a run-scoring single. It propelled the Muskies into the lead, 2-1.
Carter attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
