Timber Rattlers Send Madison Home with 5-1 Loss
|
David Jackson imposed his will on the Muskies from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the right-hander spearheaded the 5-1 Wisconsin triumph. The Muskies fall to 5-9 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2068 season.
The Muskies had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Timber Rattlers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old third baseman Roland Pabro came to the plate. Pabro hit a solo home run on a 1-1 sinker from Madison hurler Patrick Talley. It was Pabro's 1st home run of the year.
"David went out and did what we needed," said Wisconsin manager Jason Pullaro.
