Lugnuts Earn Win with Late Rally
Lansing first baseman Ewan Medina played a vital role in his team's 6-5 conquest of Peoria. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Lansing. The Chiefs drop to 6-9, as their fitful start to the 2059 campaign continues.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Lansing trailing 5-3, Medina jumped on a sinker from 22-year old left-handed pitcher Logan Andrew and hit a 3-run home run to left. With one swing, the Lugnuts had a walk-off win.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Medina said.
