Getting a good performance from first baseman Caleb Timon, the Westside Woolly Mammoths defeated the Beloit Snappers, 8-6. Timon was 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Woolly Mammoths. The win went to Justin Mandros in relief, making him now 1-0. J.J. Pritchett took the loss for Beloit. Randell Maxwell finished the game for Westside and earned his 4th save.

In the top of the eighth, the Woolly Mammoths grabbed the lead when Timon hit his 2nd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off J.J. Pritchett made it 8-6, Westside.

Afterward, Beloit manager T.J. Saddler said: "We've hit a rough patch."
