Atlanta turned a good performance from starting pitcher Parker Faford into a 5-2 triumph over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. With the loss, Houston sinks to 4-3.

Hunter Baker had a big solo home run for the Braves in the top of the fifth inning. With Atlanta leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from former first round draft pick Brandon Love and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Braves on top, 3-1.

"Enjoyed this one," Baker told the Atlanta Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
