Angels Suffer 7-1 Road Loss
The Portland Hops started the 2068 season win an impressive 7-1 win against the California Angels at The BeerGarden. Carson Samayoa led the way for Portland. Getting the save was Lincoln Midgley, his 1st.

The Hops got a big at-bat from second baseman Rudy Cassarino. For the game, Cassarino was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Portland a 2-1 lead.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Cassarino.
