Glendale Gauchos pitcher Rhino Robinson was in fine form, leading his team past the Gilbert Geckos, 4-0. With the victory, the Gauchos upped their record to 9-9.

The Gauchos benefited from an error in the top of the fourth inning. Glendale was leading 2-0 when Doug Engles hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Glendale in front, 3-0.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Robinson. "Successful pitchers do it."
