Cowan goes 3-for-4 in New Hampshire Win
Behind the hitting of Johnny Cowan, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats stopped the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, 8-6. Cowan went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Fisher Cats. Jaxon Renuka earned the save for New Hampshire, his 1st. Binghamton falls to 16-11.

Eligio Moroxio had a big 3-run home run for the Fisher Cats in the bottom of the sixth inning. With New Hampshire trailing 6-5 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Kirk Long and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Fisher Cats ahead, 8-6.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Cowan.
