Dolphins Knock Off Kissimmee, 3-2
|
West Palm Beach Dolphins starter Brody Gaub was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Kissimmee Kumquats, 3-2. Lance Craig, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. Edbert Coleman closed the game out for West Palm Beach, earning his 7th save.
West Palm Beach used the timely hitting of Dave Karnes to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dolphins on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Gaub.
West Palm Beach, with the win, is 9-4.
