Gnomes Roll to 8-0 Win Over Salamanders
The Yuma Gnomes downed the Scottsdale Salamanders, 8-0, at Tempe Diablo Stadium. The Gnomes were led by Elijah Lacey. Lacey was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Travis Isaacs locked down his 1st save. With the win, Yuma goes to 10-11, while the Salamanders fall to 14-7.

Yuma took the lead, 5-0, on Isaiah Bailey's 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Scottsdale pitcher Alex Parent in the bottom of the seventh.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Lacey told the Yuma Bulletin.
