No one was more impactful than Russ Paul in the 8-6 Somerset win over Yonkers. Paul, who is tied for 4th in the EL in bases on balls with 14, went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Somerset reliever Ace Goodson picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Andy Piper absorbed the loss. The Dark Knights are now 10-17 this season.

In the bottom of the seventh, the Patriots grabbed the lead when Paul hit his 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Andy Piper made it 6-5, Somerset.
