Torts Drop Impalas, 3-2, with Late Score

The Torts grabbed a win, 3-2, at Torts Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Tempe pitcher Oliver Brown. Brown went 5 innings and allowed no runs. At 7-10, the Torts claim 8th place in the Arizona Rookie League North Division.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Kingman pinch hitter Armando Muñoz, facing A.J. Estrada, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Torts the 3-2 win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Muñoz.
