Buckeye Falls Again, 5-2

The Bullhead City Catfish wanted a good start from Keith Engelstad -- and he delivered one. The result was a 5-2 Bullhead City win over the Buckeye Quahogs at Scottsdale Stadium. Engelstad, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 11, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. Algenis Montero finished to wrap up his 1st save.
Rory Taylor was 1 for 3 with a walk for Bullhead City. The 17-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Piero Bello. It was his 6th walk of the season.
"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Brendon Brown told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
The Quahogs have now dropped 10 straight.
