Multi-HR Game for Rutherford in 6-5 Win
A good performance from right fielder Elijah Rutherford helped the Somerset Patriots defeat the Akron RubberDucks, 6-5. Rutherford was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Patriots. The win takes Somerset to 14-11.

Somerset took a 6-3 lead on Rutherford's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Livan Galabiz in the top of the seventh, propelled Somerset to the win.

Rutherford expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
