Miramar Tags Scottsdale with 5-1 Defeat
|
Good production from second baseman Christian Kenville helped the Miramar Sun Dogs topple the Scottsdale Salamanders, 5-1. Kenville was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks for the Sun Dogs. The win belongs to Braylon Lockett in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Dustin Cale took the loss for Scottsdale. The loss drops the Salamanders to 3-5.
Miramar relied on the hitting of Ivory Herring to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Sun Dogs on top, 3-0. For the game, Herring had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Kenville told the Miramar Today.
