The Bullhead City Catfish got great pitching from 17-year old right-handed pitcher Josué Cortez, allowing them to bump off the Sedona Steers, 2-1. Mason Elkins closed it out for his 2nd save. With the loss, Sedona falls to 3-4.

The Catfish liked what they saw from Cortez. The 17-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Steers to no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 6.

"Josué really held it together well," said Bullhead City manager Luis Escobedo.
