The exploits of center fielder Leo Roller helped the Peoria Pride defeat the Gilbert Geckos, 6-1. Roller went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The win takes Peoria to 4-0.

Roller contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Peoria in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Roller took a splitter from Thomas Morris and stroked the home run to right. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Pride to leap in front, 2-1.

"The vibe's good," said Peoria manager Juan Ybarra. "We've got to keep it going."
