Frigates Earn Win with Late Rally
Despite a second-rate performance by starting pitcher Kody Williams, the Halifax Frigates were able to defeat the Erie SeaWolves, 8-7, at Jerry Uht Park. The winner was Jodie Lin in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Dan Hughes took the loss. The save was J.D. Vaughn's, his 3rd.

Graham Lindsay delivered a big hit for Halifax. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Frigates ahead, 8-5. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"You look inside of the game, it's just quality approach after quality approach," said Frigates manager Ruben Figueredo.

The SeaWolves, now 8-19, continue their inauspicious start.
