Montejano, Bighorns March to 6-1 Victory

The Lincoln Bighorns welcomed the Portland Sea Dogs to an night game at Hadlock Field.
The Lincoln Bighorns beat the Portland Sea Dogs, 6-1, at Hadlock Field. The win was due in part to second baseman Santiago Montejano, who went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Micah Curtis earned the win for Lincoln. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0.
Lincoln used a clutch at-bat from Heath Petrie to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Bighorns ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"We had a nice day," said Lincoln skipper Jackson Ladue.
Lincoln goes to 10-11.
