Rumble Ponies Beat Bighorns, 3-2
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies rode a solid performance from 21-year-old starting pitcher Bylent Claus to a win, beating the Lincoln Bighorns, 3-2, at NYSEG Stadium. Claus, now 1-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. The victory makes Binghamton 9-12.

In the bottom of the sixth, Binghamton designated hitter Willy Berry put his team on top. With two out and a runner on 2nd, he hit his 1st home run of the year. Lincoln pitcher Dominic Brangan served it up. Just like that, the Rumble Ponies were ahead, 3-2.

"Every loss stings," said Lincoln manager Jackson Ladue. "This one is no exception."
