SeaWolves Lose to Providence, 4-2
|
Providence Crabs starter Kane Lohr was in the groove. He led his team to a win over the Erie SeaWolves, 4-2. Landon Sellers earned the save for Providence, his 1st. The loss drops Erie to 8-16.
The Crabs got a big at-bat from shortstop Bob O'Brien. For the game, O'Brien was 1 for 2 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Providence a 3-0 lead.
O'Brien told a Providence Daily reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
