Yard Goats Topple SeaWolves, 3-2
The Hartford Yard Goats topped the Erie SeaWolves, 3-2, in Eastern League action at Dunkin' Donuts Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hartford pitcher Carson Hege. Hege picked up the win for Hartford, going 5 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Logan Marzetti notched his 8th save of the season.

There were several reasons the Yard Goats beat the SeaWolves, but one factor was Dean Robbins. In the bottom of the fifth, the Hartford first baseman came to bat and hit a run-scoring single. It staked his team to a 3-2 lead.

Hartford manager Bill Medina called it "a good, solid win."

With the win, Hartford lifts its record to 11-11.
